On Friday 29 May, Hastings Library will be closed until 12pm for essential maintenance works. All other branches and the OLiV service remain open as normal.
On Friday 22 May, a new mural will be painted at Hastings Library. Some equipment may temporarily affect the entrance. The accessible ramp will remain open, and equipment can be moved as required to ensure access for larger mobility aids.
Join us for a story time with Australian author and educator Christine Coleman as she reads her gentle bedtime book "Your Special Garden: Sleep Tight".
More than a story, this interactive session invites children and parents on a calming journey to create their own “Special Garden”, a safe, joyful place children can return to at bedtime to feel settled and secure.
Drawing on over 25 years’ experience in Special Education, Christine will engage families in conversation, sharing simple, practical ways parents can support their child’s emotional wellbeing and help them achieve a peaceful night’s sleep through imagination, mindfulness, and connection.
Suitable for caregivers and children up to 12.
