Christmas Closure

Mornington Peninsula Shire Library will be closed from 12pm Wednesday 24 December 2025 until 9am Friday 2 January 2026 (10am Somerville) Return chutes will be closed and all library items due for return will be automatically extended until 5 January 2026.

OLiV (Our Library Van) service will return on Monday 2 February 2026 with an updated timetable and new offerings.

After School Activities

We run regular after school activities for 5-12 year olds to encourage creative and computational thinking and working collaboratively.  A parent or guardian is expected to be present in the library during the activity.

STEAM Afternoons

Coming in 2026. All Branches.

Join us at Mornington Peninsula Shire Library for an exciting 4 week STEAM series where you can explore motion through four unique hands-on activities.

Recommended for ages 7-12.

Lego Legends

Coming in 2026. All Branches.

Join us for Lego Legends after school on Thursdays at any of our library branches. Children will be given a theme each week to go wild and build something clever and creative. No booking is required. Suitable for ages 5-12.
