Service Announcement: Hastings Library

Hastings Library will be temporarily closed 24 June – 6 July for maintenance works to upgrade our heating and cooling.

The Hastings Community Hall will be transformed into a pop-up library providing access to a limited library collection, study desks, and all scheduled programs.

This service will be open 11am-5.30pm Monday - Friday. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi, PCs and printing will not be available.

What if a dinosaur fell through a portal and landed… at the library?

This winter school holidays, young adventurers will step into a time-travel tale full of dinosaurs, imagination, and unexpected magic.

Together, we’ll dream up worlds where prehistoric creatures meet the present day, and bring those adventures to life through art, words, and fun!

What to Expect:

Imagine what happens when dinosaurs stomp into your local library, are they friends, foes, or funny librarians?
Open a portal to another time and create adventures full of surprises.
Write stories, poems, and comics that spark imagination!

Ages 6-10.
