Indigenous Literacy Day is celebrated Australia-wide on 3 September. This annual event honours First Nations stories, cultures, and languages, with this year’s theme: “Strength In Our Stories: For Now & Future Generations.”

Join us at Mornington Library for a special First Nations Storytime with guest author Aunty Fay Muir, who will share her book Country.

Country introduces children to the meaning of Country for First Nations peoples and invites them to reflect on what Country means to them.
