Join us for Greek Storytime at Mornington Library.

A joyful way for families to connect with Greek language, culture, and traditions through stories, songs, and play.

This fun, immersive program brings together the local community, fostering a sense of belonging while helping children discover the richness of Greek heritage in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Please note there is no Greek Storytime on Thursday 19 March due to our Harmony Week Greek Dancing for Children event.

Led by the talented instructors from MANASIS School of Greek Dance and Culture, children will explore traditional movement, rhythm, and storytelling through dance. We’ll begin with Zembekiko, a slower, expressive freestyle dance that celebrates individuality and emotion, a beautiful way for children to connect movement with meaning.

Then it's time to lift the energy as we launch into the iconic Zorba! Get ready for big smiles, fast feet, and a room full of excitement as kids learn the steps that have brought joy to generations. Perfect for all abilities, this interactive session will have everyone moving, laughing, and celebrating Greek culture through dance.
