Library Closure Notice

Please note that all Mornington Peninsula Library branches will close at 3pm on Thursday 17 September for Staff Development & Team Meeting.
Programs commencing after 3pm will be cancelled. Programs already underway before 3pm will continue as scheduled.
Return chutes will remain open, and you can still access our online library 24/7.

Public Holiday Closure

Mornington Peninsula Shire Library and the OLiV pop-up library service will be closed Friday 25 September due to the Grand Final Eve public holiday.

Return chutes will remain closed. Any items due for renewal have been automatically extended until Saturday 26 September. No late fees apply.

After School Activities

We run regular after school activities for 5-12 year olds to encourage creative and computational thinking and working collaboratively. A parent or guardian is expected to be present in the library during the activity.

STEM Afternoons

Join us for a unique after-school STEM program where great stories spark creative ideas.

Each week, we’ll dive into a carefully selected storybook and tackle a hands-on engineering challenge inspired by the tale. Participants will practice creativity, innovation and real-world problem-solving skills. Every session offers a new adventure and opportunities to create.

Our term 4 STEM program will be happening at all of our branches as well as our OLiV stops in Dromana and Mount Eliza

Ages 6+.

All branches: 4pm Thursdays

Mount Eliza and Dromana OLiV stops: 4pm Wednesdays (alternate weeks)

Free, bookings essential.

Note: There is no need to book a parental ticket, although we do expect you to remain with the child through the program. A ticket needs to be booked for each individual week/session you wish to attend.
