Join La Trobe University students and staff as part of our Melbourne Companions initiative for a friendly and practical session about:

  • understanding AI and using it safely
  • staying safe online and protecting personal information
  • recognising scams, fake messages, images and videos
  • where to get help when something goes wrong
  • practical help with your phone, tablet or device

Come along, learn something new, have some fun and meet others in your local community. Free light refreshments will be provided.

No technical knowledge is needed. Seniors, families, and carers are welcome.

Included in this event will be:

  • 11am-1pm - A two hour interactive workshop
  • 1-2pm - An optional 1 hour drop-in session for one-on-one assistance
